Friendly Requests!

While we don’t want to nag, we would like to ask you to observe a few requests to make your stay and future guests’ holidays as enjoyable as possible!

• Please read the gas and electricity meters on arrival and departure and log them in the black file (guide for guests). We will also read them. The electricity meter is in the box above the coat hooks by the porch. The gas meters (there are two and you need to read both) are outside – go out of the back door and turn left and you should see then there.

Please do not smoke anywhere inside the property.

Please be sensible when using the hot tub, our rules are set out in the terms & conditions.

• Please limit parking on the lane to unloading/loading up and keep this to a minimum as farm vehicles do sometimes use the lane.

• Please do not have any fires outside unless in a suitable, purpose made burner (eg chiminea).

• Please help us to save energy by making sure that lights and appliances are properly switched off when not in use.

• There is no local recycling service so if you would like to recycle, please take your plastics and paper home with youor visit the recycling centre in Gwalchmai, 5 minutes away, turn left at the junction with the A5, There are also some recycling facilities at Tescos in Bangor and Holyhead so please if you can, take your empty cans and bottles there.

• Please throw out any opened food that you no longer require before you leave.

• Please vacate the property by 11am on the day of departure.

• Please leave the property in a reasonably clean and tidy state and ensure all doors and windows are locked/closed.

Phone/Internet

The phones are available for incoming calls (01248 470955) and emergencies only. Wireless Broadband is available free of charge but you need to bring a laptop. Feel free to email us any good photos you get, we are always looking to improve the ones on our website!

Saniflo toilets

The toilet in the en-suite uses a saniflo macerator which becomes blocked if anything like tissues, sanitary items, nappies, wipes etc are put down it. This is costly to repair so please take note of this and use bins for these items. The cost of repair may be taken from your deposit.

BBQ and eating outside

Please use the BBQ sensibly and do not leave children unattended when it is in use. Please leave BBQ and equipment clean for the next group and if the gas bottle runs out please let us know. There are plastic plates and cups etc so please use these for outside dining.

Pets

Please do not allow wet/muddy dogs into the house (you can use the utility room to wash/dry) and do not allow them on the furniture. Please keep your dog supervised and under control at all times.

Bins

If your stay includes a Sunday night, please could you put the black wheelie bin out on Sunday night. This should be left on the grass verge at the crossroads at the corner of the crossroads.

General

Please leave us a message in the visitor book or on the website and let us know of any places you have visited that you really enjoyed so we can pass tips onto future guests!

Thanks and we hope you have a great stay! Please don’t hesitate to call if there is anything you can find/can’t work etc!
